The Butterfly Nebula ornament was inspired by the space images from Nasa of the Butterfly Nebula, which has points radiating outwards in opposite directions imitating butterfly wings.  It is a beautiful design and the crystals at the tips of the points add the sparkle and twinkle we all love.  If you're a confident and experienced beader using the Silk Satin Miyuki Delica Beads in this pattern will add a wonderful, additional, luminescence.
This design does get tricky towards the end because of the thread paths and needle angles and if you choose to use the Silk Satin beads then just take your time and bead cautiously ;)
